She always wanted to be an angel, they had wings, and they could visit the human world everyday, she was just a star, and she could only stay in the sky, and watch the Human world at night, but now that she was a fallen star, she could roam the earth as she pleases. She was walking around a carnival that’s what the people called it, a man called her over, and gave her this sweet sticky cloud, called cotton candy. She bit into, her eyes widen. She smiled big; it was so sweet, and delicious. She thanked him, and he smiled big, she figured no one would ever thank him, and she must have lightened his day.
She skipped through the Carnival, looking at the really tall people, she smiled and laughed as they did tricks, she watched then she heard giggling of children, she walked over and saw a puppet show, she sat down, and chewed on her candy, and laughed at the funny little people.

Hours ago she had arrived in her Shelby GT350 Mustang in the south to a carnival, she could not resist after hearing the local diner speak of it. Rides, candies, games, colorful lights, candy, shows, mazes, did she mention candy? In the back seat of the mustang she redressed into a new outfit. In being an angel she didn't have to worry about appearances but she had fun with outfits, she understood how it felt for a human to shop. The day she took Sophia as her vessel she cleaned out her closet and dresser for clothes before taking the car, her credit cards, and starting her job on Earth. She couldn't resist a childish dress, slip on shoes and a head-band- she noticed around this time in the south they liked wearing light clothing. Parisa aimed to look as normal as she could.
Sitting at a small table beside concession stands after concession stands she scanned the area- it was better than she had hoped it to be. Full of humans of all ages, colorful and loud with the sounds of dings, laughter, and happy conversations. Everywhere she looked there were smiling faces, she couldn't whip the grin off her's. Taking money from out of her matching purse she got up and walked to a concession stand. It wasn't until she got to the front of the line did she see the large array of candies: from hard candies to chewy Wonka candies, to candies with filled centers to chocolates. Parisa got overwhelmed and started pointing at what she wanted: Cotton Candy, the large chocolate Hershey bar, the candy necklace, a bag of jelly beans, two Red Candy Apples Lollipops, an Ice Cream Flavored Unicorn Twist Pop, a bag of Cotton Candy Gumballs, four Laffy Taffy Candies, two Ring Pops, two Sour Punch Straws Candy, and finally a bag of Gummy Bears.
The man behind the stand laughed at her as he sat all the candies down on the counter, he quickly took all of the candies and placed them in a box. "This outta be easier, kiddo." He chuckled, handing her the box and taking her money. "Thank you, sir." Parisa held on tight to the box of candies, staring at them all in aw. Where to start, she thought, it'd probably be best if I found a place to sit, though. Parisa walked some ways to see a puppet show and quickly saw an open seat by another person. Happily she sat down and placed the box of candies on her lap, more fascinated with the candies than the puppet show. "Would you care for some sweets?" She asked the girl beside her as she grabbed a Ring Pop and placed it on her own finger to grab an Ice Cream Flavored Unicorn Twist.

She looked over to see an angel, offering her these sweets, she couldn’t remember what they called them, but they were so freaking good. Makaiya’s eyes turned to a sea green, and began glowing, she nodded excitedly, she loved to make new friends, especially with an angel, she love angels, and it was their job to protect the stars, just in case they did fall. They were given angels when they were born, but Makaiya never got hers, depending on the type of start they were given two, she was a shooting star, so she needed two, but she never got them because the council hated her.
She smiled big at the angel, she began glowing with happiness, she took one of her sweets, and began chewing on it, and it was so good, the chocolate melted in her mouth, and then she continued to eat her cotton candy. She broke a piece off, and offered it to the angel. “Want some, and thank you” She said in her sweet, joyful voice.

Parisa unwrapped the Ice Cream Flavored Unicorn Twist, looking over at the girl beside her. Alas, she knew this girl, funny huh? Her sweet smile grew to a grin, "Makaiya! How wonderful to see you again!" Parisa stuck the unicorn twist sucker in her mouth, tasting a vanilla flavour. Recently she hadn't seen Makaiya, they both had their own things to do. When living up stairs, Parisa was almost given the job to protect Makaiya but Father had other plans for Parisa. "She is to be a Nourishment Angel." He said, and so she was. She wouldn't have minded being Makaiya's angel, she loved her like a sister afterall.
The brunette nodded her head, "Thank you!" and politely took the piece of cotton candy from the star's fingers. Parisa had cotton candy herself, her's being another color than Makaiya's so she figured they were different flavoured. As she took the sucker from her mouth and threw in the cotton candy it melted to the roof of her mouth and she chuckled. "Hmm, I love candy!" The angel exclaimed in her sweet English accent. "Makaiya-"Parisa looked over at the girl beside her, "How's the Star life going?" she asked- it's not like any of the little kids around would understand them.

Makaiya smiled, she recognize the angel, it was Parisa, she noticed by the sweet addiction, and the cute, childish smile. She smiled, and hugged her, she missed her Angelic sister, she wonder what happened to her, God did promote her to Nourishment angel, she was happy for her, so she couldn’t help but smiled. “I am fine Parisa” She smiled, but that wasn’t true, she was lost and alone. She wondered if Parisa knew that she was fallen, and she was the laughing stock amongst all the stars.
She then looked down; her eyes had stopped glowing, along with her skin. She was upset because no one cared, but it was her fault so she shouldn’t blame anyone. It was her stupidity so she could be yelled at and laughed at. She forced a fake smiled, and laughed a bit “It’s going okay, still shining bright, as you can see, yes? She paused for a bit “How’s your angel business?” She giggled, as the children stared at them and laughed. She loved children, they were just so cute to her, and the great thing about them they never grew up, she thought the kids were mini humans.

Parisa was going to be a number of things, she was created and was one of those angels that never really took part in those Earthly interventions. She was one of those angels that was left to do nothing but praise God, a Seraphim. Her good intentions to her fellow angels landed her a redirection. High leveled angels wished she'd put her good intentions to better use, a Protection Angel. God didn't like the idea of his Parisa to be in the field, thus he decided upon her nourishment job. She thanked him everyday for the job she had, she loved every moment of it. She had a direct line to God, she hardly bothered him, though, it was the least she could do. Though, he demanded her to check in once in every year.
Parisa hugged Makaiya back, it was sweet to finally see her again. She hadn't heard anything from fellow angels about Makaiya, perhaps they knew she would have had a fit if they had said anything bad about her Star. Parisa grinned, "That's good to hear, I have missed our visits dearly." she pouted out her lip to show she was sad that they hardly spoke recently. "Oh! My job is splendid, I'm loving it so much!" Paris looked off in the distance, her eyes twinkling. "But I fear.."She stopped, looking down at the box of candies. "I've been in human for so long and around them, I am starting to feel emotion." Parisa was only graced with the happiness and child-like nature she had, but as she stayed within this vessel and on earth she was feeling loneliness, sorrow, and anger as well. "It scares me, Makaiya." She looked up, finally noticing the children looking at them.

She was very happy for Parisa, she was doing good, but she kept getting scared about her emotions, she smiled big, and put her forehead to hers” It’s a good thing, your special than other angels, they listen to orders, but you now can feel human, instead of a tin man” She smiled, she always hated that about angels, they had no emotion, even though they tried, they were fake. She was just glad Parisa, could be at least human.
She then took another chocolate, and laughed, she was a little happier, but she was still going through her new emotion and that was sadness, she was trying to be joyful, but the failure, and the stars just brought her down again.

The longer she stayed in her vessel the more emotions she was exposed to- she could handle the cravings, the typical needs to happiness, but she couldn't take the sorrow, headaches, and the anger. Every time her feelings changed she got scared. Makaiya placed her forehead to her's, "I was never a tin man- graced with happiness, but I wish I didn't feel these other things." Parisa gave her a side ways expression. "I can't take anger or sorrow. I felt pain- real pain yesterday. I tried to heal someone and felt pain." She turned her palms over to show she had what looked like burn marks on her palms. "I was doing my job." Parisa pouted her lip out again.
"Do you remember Aglaea? That's how it started with her, she felt the human emotions, it took hold of her. She rebelled and was taken from grace.." Parisa looked down at the marks on her palms. "I watched her die not long ago, I was told not to help. They sent Eunice to hold me from my job, I wanted to help her but she wasn't herself." Parisa looked up at Makaiya, "What if that happens to me? What if they strip me of my grace?" the girl was seriously worried, she believed and had faith still but how long until influences took that away from her and caused her to fall?

Makaiya didn’t want Parisa to worry, but she didn’t want her to fail like her, she wanted her to succeed, “It may seem scary at first, but it’s great” She smiled, god loved humans cause of this, they could feel pain, joy, and sadness, and also hate. Makaiya only had joy all her life, she could now feel fear, and sadness, and it was all so new, and great. The happiness was overwhelming she began to glow, and all the light glowed brighter then ever, making the carnival look gorgeous.
She stood up, and took Parisa off and dragged her to the rides, she wanted her to see the human side, with emotion and not be afraid. Makaiya wasn’t afraid to show her emotions, she was quite wild, but that angered other Stars, and the council maybe because they were jealous, but she didn’t believe she wasn’t that special, but everyone else seem to say so. She then saw the fairest wheel, and waited in line with Parisa. She kept bouncing up and down, she was just so excited, he heart was going to explode out of her chest, she looked to Parisa, and smiled big. The angel was obviously concerned, she was afraid to feel bigger pain than just the marks on her hands- she was afraid she'd be influenced to not agree with management upstairs. Above all thing she was afraid one day she'd have grace taken from her, she'd be shunned and thrown on Earth alone and powerless. Maybe she'd be like Eli, re-birthed into the human world and not remember any of her life in Heaven. That scared her more. Parisa thought about it, it is definitely scary to her and maybe she was just being a drama queen- that's what humans call it right?
By now Parisa was confused, she tells her like a sister friend about her fear and what does she do? She tells her it's a good thing, says she's lucky, and happily takes her through the carnival to the rides area and makes her wait in line with her. "Makaiya, what are we doing?" Parisa looked worried at the girl beside her, bouncing around and looking eager. "What is this line for? Why are we here?" One question after another Parisa looked around hoping for a sign to tell her what they were in line for. "I don't like this, Makaiya.." She shifted to her left and stuck the Ring Pop in her mouth.

She felt sorry on how she was afraid, she gave her sad eyes, and then smiled. “Don’t worry it’s a ride, I went on it twice” She smiled “its fun” She said, having excitement in her voice. She wanted Parisa to be happy, but she was probably making it worst, and the words she said was probably bad too, she sucked at happy people. She was always a failure, and she always will be. She then saw they were right outside the gate, there turn was next, she grabbed Parisa’s hand, and smiled.
She wanted to please her; she wanted to make things perfect, and right. She looked up at the sky, and smiled, she had a friend, and she didn’t need the stars anymore, she had a sister. But would that be enough to feel up her loneliness, and sorrow she felt, it wasn’t going to be enough. But she was all the family that she had. She felt broken, she needed to be fixed, but first she had to fix Parisa, and she was going to make her very happy no matter what.
It was their turn for the ride; she quickly got into the seat, and waited for Parisa to join. But knowing her she would be too afraid, she could go by herself, she didn’t mind. She has always been alone.

Parisa squirmed in line beside Makaiya, looking around anxiously. "A ride? I'm not familiar with these rides, Makaiya." Silently she began biting on the inside of her lip, she couldn't stand still. The sounds of humans bustling and the faint sound of music played as Parisa looked back at the girl beside her when they got to the gate. Makaiya sounded stoked to get on this ride and Parisa never doubted her judgment before. She took her hand and smiled as they waited a little while longer.
From front view she could see this fares wheel and how it worked, it moved in a clock motion taking passengers far up. Her jaw dropped and her complexion turned pale, it was tall and seemed unsafe in her green eyes. "M-Makaiya.. Aree you sure about this?" Parisa stuttered, looking over to see Makaiya had already advanced to a seat on what looked to be a dangerous ride to Parisa. She never favoured heights to being with, but the rocking motion the seats made, the noise she heard when the ride stopped, everything seemed bad to her.
The man looked at her, looking impatient, she was far more creeped out about his expression than the ride it's self. Parisa advanced and sat beside Makaiya, scanning the area thoroughly. She placed her hand in her lap and grabbed Makaiya's hand with the other, she trusted her and knew she was the one person to make her feel at ease.

Makaiya held onto Parisa hand, and let the ride take them up towards the sky, they were going up slowly, but they were going up higher and higher, seeing all the people were turning into ants, she smiled. She looked up at the night sky, and lost her smile, she saw all the stars, and the big moon. She could feel the moons sadness for her, she wanted to go back home, but that would never happen. She felt like one of those fugitives, demons wanted her for some reason, but she couldn’t figure out why. She wasn’t special, or anything, they was just probably wanting to eat her, and use her Star dust for some purposes she pout, then looked at Parisa, and smiled.
Parisa didn’t looked too thrilled, she looked scared, she was a sucky sister, she couldn’t say anything to make her feel better, she would probably just make it worst somehow. She hugged her, and protected her. She was always there for Parisa, and Parisa was the same. They were like two peas in a pod, the other stars were jealous because she was friends with an angel, to them angels were just bodyguards, and jobs. But Makaiya saw more than just that.

Slowly the ride took them to the top of the fares wheel and Parisa's eyes widened. She looked down at the view and although it looked pretty it scared her. Lip quivering she leaned back against the seat and stared up instead of down below. The sky looked beautiful and it felt just like when you lay at the top of a hill before sunset. She began playing with her hair with her right hand, she typically did that when she was nervous or impatient. Staring up at the stars above made her forget about the height she was reaching, that is, until the ride brought them down. Looking over she saw Makaiya smile at her and quickly brought her into a hug.
"T-this isn't so bad.." Parisa managed to stutter out, giving Makaiya a weak smile. Adraste would have been proud of her for taking to such heights, he had tried and tried to get her to look out windows in buildings, get her to walk across bridges but she was too scared. Adraste was the only angel she was close to like she was close to Makaiya, both were always there for her and had her in their best interest and she'd do the same for them. With the thought of Adraste she moved her right hand from her hair to her winged heart necklace and gripped it tight. [/blockquote]

She smiled at the sound of Parisa voice, she stuttered a bit. But she was feeling better. The ride would soon be over, and the carnival would close. Makaiya would sneak back in, and sleep in the hay, but she ended up having her hair chewed by the horsey it would always mistaken her for hay, she giggled at the thought, and looked up at the nick sky, and saw a shooting star, her eyes widen, and she looked down with Sadness, they could always do it right, why couldn’t she? Like all the stars would have mates, and she didn’t she had no one, she was quite lonely. She sighed, and saw colourful stars, but they would make big bangs. She didn’t know what kind of stars they were but they were pretty but very loud. She smiled, and gasped at every colour, they were gorgeous.
She looked to Parisa, who was twirling her hair, she always did that when she was uncomfortable, and she smiled. At least she felt multiple feelings then just one like her, other stars had emotions that were different from her, all she had was the feeling of joy. But being with humans, show her more thing then everything. Not everyone is nice, not everyone is good, some aren’t rich, and some aren’t famous, but they still were people unlike her, who were nothing but a star.
