"Heh, why the hell am I not surprise one damned bit. Dad has always been one to cover his trails well. However, when one is trying to find it makes it pretty damned hard to keep up with him. Always one step ahead of the game. Ah well though I suppose. The fact that he had been through here is a good thing. That means were going the right way. At least for now....until we loose the trail again. Ugh, I swear my dad needs a tracker kept on him worse than my brother here." he stated with a minor chuckle at the end.
Dean at some more of his food. He wasn't going to stop eating just because she was there talking to them. He wanted his food and his coffee. He needed to be awake long enough to get to there next hunt. Or to a place where they could rest for the night. Either one sounded good to him. He was a workaholic, but he was not about to let his baby be turned into a sardine can that was crushed into bits. No that was not his ammo. He let the food he at keep his mind clear and focused.

There was a change in the atmosphere; Eli could feel it. She did not know what was going on between the Winchester men, however it was none of her concern, and she could honestly care less when innocent lives were being killed.
What was necessary at this point in time was solving the puzzle that had been placed before them. The murders would persist if the culprit was not dealt with and law enforcement was apparently incapable of doing so. Precious time was being wasted; perhaps another unlawful death had occurred while she stood, conversing with two complete strangers. She acquired the information she had sought, now she had to do a little research of her own.
The hunter did not intend to check into a motel room or even sleep for that matter. She was prepared to investigate the crime scenes and determined to unmask the perpetrator before it was too late. Whether Sam and Dean planned on lounging for another hour in the safety of the diner she did not know. Eli was restless, eager to tackle the proposed challenge. Not even a bed or delectable piece of chocolate cheesecake could divert her attention at this moment.
“My profession?” The young woman glanced at Sam. “I hunt,” she stated flatly. “And I do believe I am back in business.” Eli spun on her heel, not throwing another fleeting look their way. Her occupation always came before anything; including herself.

It was in the open now. Who she was, was finally revealed to the both of them. The girl was a hunter, just like they were, and she was looking for the same thing that they were. The same hunt. In some ways, that could be a good thing. In others, if she was one of those loner types, would be a bad thing. Sam though was going to test his luck against all odds over it. Basically take a gamble for his own good. That or not his own good, which ever seemed to suit more easier.
"A hunter eh." he said only loudly enough for her to hear. "I'm guessing hunter of the supernatural. After all you saw the same article as us and found interest in it as much as we did. My guess would be that your going to look into the same thing we are. If that is the case. Maybe....maybe we could help each other. Unless you don't want to and that's fine. We'd understand. But what you would have to understand is that Dean and i will be looking into this case either way. So it will be either work together, or on the other hand the best person win so to say. It all depends on you though."

'Okay..." Dean said slowly. "Whoa, whoa, whoa sweetheart. Sam here has a point. If you are a hunter, you have to realize we did find this hunt. The least you can do is take some of the so called cake. After all if we hadn't found it you wouldn't find it interesting yourself. So if your plan is to go after this snag, I think we should get a piece of the proverbial pie. Even if it means we'd have to work together on it. I mean I know I may be dupeable, but I am not stupid seeing as it is that Sam and I are of the same profession. I had to guess that you had to be a hunter having to of ran into our dad. I really should of seen that one coming. "
He gave her a strong look as she looked as if she was about to leave. If he had to he would try and stop her to get her attention. He took a brief look at Sam and then back to her. He just hoped she would listen, even if it meant that he may be sticking his foot in his mouth.

Halting in mid-step, Eli peered back over her shoulder. Collaborating alongside the Winchester men could prove to be to both of their advantages. She was not certain how experienced they were when it came to hunting, however they must have acquired some talent within the field considering who their father was. Not to mention they had stumbled upon the article first and although the young woman did not believe in claims, she did not desire to cause friction between the two parties.
“Very well, I shall cooperate for the sake of the victims as well as the culprit’s impending targets,” she replied. At least Sam appeared to be quite intelligent; therefore she hoped their combined mental prowess would make everything a lot easier on all of them. The hunter was even now still up in the air in relation to Dean; perhaps he was the brawn? No matter, she agreed to their proposition and Eli supposed she was stuck with the brothers in the meantime. With any luck Dean would not be difficult to work alongside.
She arched a brow. “I apologize for my impatience; however I believe we should get cracking, so to speak.” Eli hoped they could leave the diner once and for all.

Sam was glad that she wanted to work with them. It would make there job ten times easier by far. Not to mention probably quicker. If two heads were better than one, three would make it absolutely flawless. He gave her an appreciated smile. Naturally he took a few more bits of his food and then gave up on the meal at hand. They were going to have to find a place to gather themselves and rest. Especially Dean, he was not about to let his brother drive. However, he knew he was too tired still to drive as well himself.
"Well I am ready to continue on from here. What about you Dean? I am guessing your ready to head out aren't you." he stated tiredly as he got his things and got ready to go. He figured Dean would get the tab. He usually did. "But before we do any more work. i think it would be a good idea to get some sleep. After all I know for a fact that Dean needs some. And I think I do to. It has been a long drive for us so far. So yeah you should probably too there Eli."

"Yeah sleep sounds really awesome right about now. I know I could use some for sure. After all, driving isn't easy as one would like to so call think." he stated with a stretch and a yawn. He then made sure that the food he wanted was gone and that he was ready to go himself. Once he thought that he was, he had grabbed his jacket and pulled himself away from the booth that he was at. He gave a sigh and re adjusted his shirt before putting his jacket on to leave the diner. Of course he paid for the tab.
Affter he paid for the tab, he left the diner leading the tired group outside to the vehicles. Dean went over and put his key in the lock to unlock the door. He then opened it. But before he stepped into the car he stated, "Follow us and we will all find a motel to stay at that's cheap. That way if we are going to work on this thing together, at least we will be all near by each other."
He then got into the car after letting Eli know the plan. He was always in authority when it came over such things. Or so he thought anyway. whether it be true or on. That didn't matter. As long as Dean felt he had the upper hand that was all that mattered.
