She was in one of the many forests inland of Oregon. What the name was she couldn't remember. Her form was pale against the darkness of the night. Bright emerald green eyes glittered in the darkness as they searched for the animal she was hunting. The Hunger had gotten to her before she had anything supernatural to track down. So right now she was trying to sate the gnawing in both her belly and mind, trying to rid herself of that horrible ache that drove her insane.
She held back a hiss of pain as another ache lanced through her gut. She shook her head trying to ignore the call of the beast, it would not help to have the cat out now not until the wind changed and she could creep up on her prey silently. Right now she could only hope these deer were tame enough not to be worried by a human. She had left her shoes by the path and now her smooth feet made barely any sound as she placed them carefully onto the ground. Her eyesight was better than a humans and she could see through the dark well enough to be able to avoid sticks and things that may make sound.
She inhaled deeply, her heightened sense of smell bringing in the scent of a young buck. She paced closer and her eyes found the darker shape in the night laying in sleep. She would wake him first, the thrill of the hunt would stop the Hunger more than the actual eating. She began to shift a loud groan left her lips as her body curved and bent, bones shaping themselves into something themselves entirely. Her muscles snapped and lengthened, tightening and curling around in other places they didn't belong in human form.
The deer started at the sound of her pained sounds and it was off leaping through the brush. IT mattered not though. Andee was soon in jaguar form and she was hunting. Running after him, leaping and diving over and under the undergrowth. The buck couldn't understand the smell of her as she came upon him. What creature was hunting her down, a mix between a Jaguar and some cat he had never smelled before. She was soon behind him and her claws extended as did her paw to hook his back leg and the buck stumbled just long enough for Andee to launch herself at his neck and crush his throat with her powerful jaws.
She pulled back as the buck fell to the ground and she began to lap at his blood. Then the cat began to feast. In the quiet night nothing could be heard but the shivering of the leaves and the dying buck beneath her as she tore into him while he was still alive.
