It’s was cold, really cold. It was white all over. Makaiya couldn’t understand what she was walking on, and why it was so cold and cold wasn’t good for her. Since she was a star, she relied on heat, and cold could kill a star, and she was probably going to die, she had to find something to warm her up. Her feet were burning from the cold cotton candy, that what she called it; she began glowing in and out. She became distorted, and confused, then she began to see double vision, next thing she knew she was laying on the cold snow, glowing in and out. She was going to died, she couldn’t speak or cry if she did, her tears would freeze solid just like her body was now. Maybe this was for the best since she did disgraced the council, and failed.
She balled her cold hands, and curled into a ball to stay warm, but that wasn't helping, her honey skin was slowly turning pale, with snow on her, and her bright blue eyes were becoming dull. They use to shine, everything did, but that wasn’t going to happen anymore if she was dead. She then hugged her arms, and closed her eyes, and shook. Her teeth kept doing this thing were they would shake, she couldn’t understand any of this, but all she could do was lie down, and lose her glow. She stopped moving, and at that the glowing stopped. To an angel, coldness was meaningless. Sure, to the vessel of an angel when there on earth would mean something. But as long as the angel was in the vessel, coldness was a mere nothingness to them. It especially was meaningless to an angel that had arch status. In the cold a person clad in black cloths and black trench coat with a hood up on it strode the area near where the star had fallen. It hadn't been expecting a star, that was for sure. Yet it didn't seem to surprise him one bit. There were things he know of in the universe that not many other angels knew. He had to know them.
He walked over and stood over the star, which now looked very human in nature. He tilted his head to the side as if he were deep in thought about something. However what he was doing was finding if she were alive or not, which she was. How he knew this, he was the Arch angel of Death that was how. The under protege to the horseman Death himself. Yet not many knew that either. Not even some of the angels themselves. He knelt down next to her and put a hand on her forehead. The girl was just barely living, but Ezekiel had the keys to say who lived or died, and he knew that this girl dying was just not her time. Naturally he used his angelic powers to try and wake her.
"Wake." he plainly stated in s soft voice. His touch was warm and comforting. Most thought of death to be cold, harsh, and despairing. Not Ezekiel though. He was one to put people to rest where they belonged. Most of the time he felt sorry for those that got drug down into the depths of Hell because of demons or darker personal reasons of a humans own torment. Even after he let go of the girls head he still knelt there along side her. Once, and if she woke, he would offer her his trench coat to keep warm with until he could get her someplace safe and warmer.
Strangely enough since his vessel was one that had been alone anyways, he had a slight get away place when work and heaven were just too much even on him. Every angel had there quirks. Hell he knew Gabriel did. So naturally why couldn't of he. Instinctively he took his hat off, letting his dark hair fall into his vibrant blue eyes as he gazed down at her.

She stooped shaking after a warm touched hit her forehead, she woke up, and looked at the man looking over her, with her light blue eyes that were dull cause of the coldness, and she smiled a bit. She realized the presence she was in, it was Ezekiel the Arch of death, and she smiled. “ T-t-t hank you” She stuttered, she was still cold and shivering but not as much, why would the angel of death come to her rescue, shouldn’t he just let her die, maybe it just weren’t her time. Her feet were bare still, and freezing they were also burning. Her glow had returned a little but not fully, so she still had to become warm.
“What are you..d-doing here?” She asked, looking at his blue eyes.

"I was walking along. That's all. Then here you were. So I made sure you were alright.' Ezekiel stated. He knew very little about stars. Outside of them being part of the heavens and a few other minor details, that was some of the limited extent he knew. In his experience stars were more finicky than angels in some cases. However they were as much creation as angels were. Essences of energy that just were. Ezekiel looked at this star with much curiosity. It wasn't even every day even an Arch Angel got to see a star in there presence.
"Your lucky your actually alive. In this cold in all honesty one could freeze to death. Let me help you up." he said. He helped her stand and then put his jacket around her after taking it off himself. He let it drape over her. He would use his angelic mojo get her someplace warm, but he knew that, that would be a bad thing for her. From what he could tell anyways. Was it really possible for a star to fall just as much as an angel. "What....more like how....did a sweet creature like you end up here? You can tell me as I get you somewhere warm." he inquired. Thankfully his little hideout wasn't too far away.

She smiled up at the angel, and giggled a bit. She listen to him talk, she glowed with happiness cause an angel well arch angel was talking to her, normally angels would just smile, and vanish but besides Parisa who smiles, talk and hugs her, practically acts like her sister is the only one that care about her. She was wondering why an arch angel would save her from such peril. She smiled, and blinked. He helped her up, and she looked at him as he gave her his jacket, it was warm, and relaxing. “Thank you” She said, in a soft cheery voice. The only thing she didn’t hope was him asking her what was she doing here, but he did, and she sighed.
“I am lost, that’s all, and aren’t you cold?” She asked, she was curious if he was cold or not if he was she would give him back his coat, she wasn’t sure if it was alright; she looked down, and thought about the other stars. They probably hated the angel for saving her, they all wanted her to die, but God must have sent him to save or like he said he must have just been strolling around. She sighed, and smiled at him. “Where to?” She asked in a cheery, but low voice.

"Lost, well lost is no fun, now is it. We are going to go to a little place I know of. One that will keep you warmer than staying out here. That is for sure. As for myself. I am alright. Cold, does not affect me much. Honestly it feels good for the time being. Don't worry about me. It you, you should be worried about." he stated calmly. His tone of voice was gentle but strong. It was just his nature. A part of his job so to say. That and even though he was an arch angel, he didn't always act like most arch angels should. He was very stubborn. A trait that seemed to peak out after Lucifer fell into his cage.
However, unlike Lucifer who had betrayed not only himself, but his brothers and sisters in rebellion; Ezekiel found himself to make his rebellious nature in a more constructive manner. One that would serve what God needed, not what God wanted. That was the true irony behind it all, and the one thing that was keeping him from being cast down as well. He like his deranged brother Gabriel, had a soft spot for the creations of the universe, and that included man. Yet his brother Gab was more stubborn not to admit his favor for man.
Back into the moment, Ezekiel helped the start get her barrings. He then walked her along in the snow. He knew that it had to being hurting her to some extent, but he kept trying to reassure her that everything would be alright. That the cold would subside soon. Conscientiously he knew what he was doing was taking away from doing his job, but a part of him didn't care. His job some days tended to give him a migraine, so one break was always something he looked forward to. Finally they reached the steps to the place he called sanctuary and ushered her in.
"Here you go." he stated getting her into where the living room was. The place was comfortable and warm. A leather couch sat near a fireplace. Again, sure he was an angel, but he like some other angels, enjoyed earthly comforts. His just was a very odd obsession. On shelves he had Gothic novels of all sorts, music of all genres with a high emphasis on rock, heck there were even old pictures of what his vessel was like before he became a part of him. "I hope you comfortable now. There are plenty of blankets around if you need them. That, and if you want something to drink I can make you some tea or other. I also can get you some warm cloths to wear. Plus there is a tub upstairs for your pleasure." he commented. giving her a blanket. He let her also keep the jacket on until he could get her proper cloths.

She looked around the place, it was warm and toasty, she quickly ran to the fire place, and put her hands in front of it, it was so warm, she took off his jacket, and as the heat went to her hands, she began to glow a red colour, and then her skin tone was back, along with her light brown hair, and her sea green eyes, she stood up, and stared at the angel, she nodded, and gave him a bow for his kindness, then she began twirling around, and looking around the place, she then sat on the couch, and looked at him, canting her head. He was so kind to her, and sweet. He was very nice, and she smiled, and giggled then looked at the fire, and smiled at it. “So warm, thank you... and what is tea?” She asked, it sound good, so she should try it, she wasn’t cultured with the human world drinks, and food, and she just wanted to try this tea.
She wanted to get cleaned, so she waited for him to give some tea, then she would take this so called bath humans would talk about sometimes, she never had one besides playing around in the water, and plus the stars would play around in the milky way, she giggled and smiled at him then she sat down again, and waited, she swung her feet back and forth, “Um..Don’t you get lonely? And why do you hide?” She wondered all these things, was he kicked out to like her, and well she wasn’t kicked out she fell, but why was he here? Did he just come down, and visit the human world, or was he being chased, or did he rebel like Lucifer? She was so curious onto why he stayed here; didn’t angels protect people like Parisa, so why protect her? Angels were supposed to be the bodyguards of Stars, she was supposed to have two, but the council hated her so much.
Her lips quiver, then she pulled her feet unto the couch, and cried, she missed her home, but she could never go back, she was stuck here on earth, her new home, but no one wanted her or loved her only the demons wanted her for her powers, she began sobbing then crying, the frozen tears she had long ago, were now moving, and not frozen to show the world that she was crying, but now she was her glittering tears, matched her sad silver-blue eyes, she let her hand fall in her knees and she just cried.

"Don't cry, please don't cry." he stated calmly. "Well tea is the stuff humans love to drink to feel good. It warm and it tastes yummy. So most humans say. As for me being lonely...sometimes, but not often. No I am not hiding. I have no need to hide. I just enjoy earth and its pleasures. Some angels tend to, like Gabriel. Such a trouble maker sometimes, but he's alright. For a messenger arch that is. But yes, I will get you some tea to try out okay." he stated, gave her a hug, and then got up to go to the kitchen. He could tell she was one of those kind that couldn't sit still very long. It was a bit over bearing to him due to his dark isms but he at least tried to be nice. He finally came back out to the living room a couple of minutes later with a warm cup of tea in his hands. He made sure it was cool enough for her told, seeing as she didn't know much about earth it seemed. He didn't want to hurt her. "So, how much about earth do you know?" he inquired.

Her tears stopped when he hugged her, it was warm and all well fluffy, she giggled, and grabbed the tea. She put the glass to her cheek, and let it warm her a bit, then she drunk it all and one gulp, she then held the empty glass to her cheek again to absorb the last of it's warmth. She then looked at Eezkiel with her big blue glowing eyes, and smiled. " I don't know much but I do know about these great sweets, called candy they are so good, especially this one called cotton candy, it so soft but very sticky" She said, being very excited.
She then looked down, and smiled. " What do you know, because I don't know as much as you wise one, I don't know this one thing that people share, oh fiddles..what was it yes Love, the very sticky and warm feeling, the type of cotton candy feeling yes?" She said, looking at him with curiosity and joy. " It's so weird, but very interesting, I love people sharing it.." She paused, and squealed with joy. " I love something, but I don't have that warm sticky feeling" She said, looking sad.

Ezekiel almost wanted to laugh at the fact that the girl seemed so child like. In his mind. It almost made him want to laugh. Yet at the same time he didn't want to ruin his rough tough dark rep either. However, he did give a small smile to her instead. One that was very good nature in ism and kind. He liked her warm kindred spirit, even if it seemed a bit like an ADHD child's. The innocence made him think of a small kid who found a new shiny toy interesting, even if the adult didn't.
"Well I am glad you like the tea. Yes love is sweet, but definitely not sticky like cotton candy. You don't have to be sticky to love something. Warmth in the sense of love is that strong feeling emotion that humans tend to share when their attracted to something. There are so many different types of human things to find and explore. Most of them i already have. Both finer, and not so finer points. Everything from objects, to feelings. Happiness to sadness, fun to pain. Even I as an angel have found pleasures that humans tend to enjoy. It helps me to help them to transition to the other side. Now, once your done with that drink I can get a wonderful bath started for you. It will make you feel better, you know more of that warm feeling."

She placed her hands under her jaw, and listened to the angel as her hands suck into her cheeks, she canted her head, and smiled. He was so kind and very smart indeed, he was a guide to her, but he wasn't going to last long, she couldn't stay she just couldn't, she could never be happy at all, with all the demons, and the stupid stars, her face built up with anger, she wanted to hurt them all, but then she stopped, she lost her love and excitement, she gained hate, and the feeling to kill. she couldn't help but shed a tear.
She looked at Ezekiel, and stood up, she wondered if he could see this monster and faliure in front of him, she snapped out of it, and forced a small little smile. " Yes would you please run that bath" She said, she was trying to hide the crackling in her voice, from all her fears, hate and desires the horrible things she wanted to do, she was sick, and twisted like one of those ugly trees, she was just ugly all over, she fell to the ground, and laid there. Crying and wanting to stop being ugly. " I want it to stop, I want to stop being ugly!" She demanded, and cried.
