HISTORY:
Abigail was born into chaos.
She was raised single-handedly by her mother, Eli Cross. Abigail grew up not knowing the identity of her father and although her mom spoke fondly of him, she resented the man who had left them behind. An only child, Eli was the only family Abigail ever knew and loved. Eli had not only been Abigail’s mother, but her closest confident. She never dreamed of a life without her mom by her side and was shocked when Eli was murdered while on a hunting mission.
Abigail was devastated by the loss of her mother. She became withdrawn and hostile, secluding herself when able despite yearning for companionship, afraid to endure the indescribable hurt that accompanied the death of a loved one. Not only does she hunt to revenge Eli, Abigail hunts to release her pent-up fury and sorrow. While her mom wished for an end to the bedlam enveloping the earth, Abigail could care less about the future or assisting others. All she wants to do is to continue hacking up demons and catching some Zs, because she does not see the logic in the fairytale dreams of a peaceful future and deems their current predicament as a lost cause. How could a group of mortals defeat Lucifer and his army anyway?
In addition to blaming Lucifer for the death of her mother, she holds the Winchester’s responsible too and thus dislikes them just as much. So, when she began to have prophetic dreams concerning the family, Abigail disregarded them, not telling a soul; she did not feel obligated to assist them in any way, shape, or form.
