well it was just a dream just a moment ago i was up so high, lookin' down at the sky don't let me fall Zerachiel took a seat in a pew, her green eyes drifting over the vacant interior of the church. Her hands shook, knuckles white beneath her skin, fingers stiff and palms slick with sweat as she gripped the backside of the pew before her. Resting her head on the wood – cool against her flesh – the Archangel swallowed back the mounting nausea. Hours ago she had been a mortal woman. At present, she was an angel. Memories spanning over centuries overwhelmed her and the power she now possessed tore through her body, a familiar yet foreign feeling.
And she had wings. . .
Although Eli Cross had been such a small piece of who she was – had been – a part of Zerachiel yearned to be that young woman once again. Everything she had come to know the past twenty-six years was now insignificant. Her time on earth, in the end, was a waste of time. The apocalypse had begun and she was dilly-dallying on her Father’s most precious creation, oblivious to the responsibilities she bore, thinking she was one of them.
However, when she looked back, her dedication to the human race, her intense desire to protect the innocent . . . it all made sense. Even though she had fallen, Zerachiel was always doing her job, albeit subconsciously.
She was no longer Eli Cross. Eli Cross never existed. She had always been and always would be Zerachiel.

Micheal had been wandering the wayside of the planet. Putting out fires so to speak. When all of a sudden he felt a great power call to him. A power he had not felt for 26-human years. She had returned to the family. Zerachiel had gotten her grace back. She had spent the last quarter of a century as a mortal but most of her true life had been spent with Micheal.
Flying at great speed an almost instant trip for the Archangel, Micheal now stood in the church where Zerachiel was. He walked slowly and took a seat next to his family. "Welcome back, sister." Micheal said putting an arm around the still sickly angel. Using his tremendous power, Micheal aided and sped up the process of the host body accepting her grace. "I hope that helps Zerachiel. Are you ready to come back into my garrison under my command? Be my right hand girl?" Micheal hoped the answer was yes otherwise this could become a very awkward conversation.

well it was just a dream just a moment ago i was up so high, lookin' down at the sky don’t let me fall Drawn from her reverie, Zerachiel welcomed Michael’s assistance. She could feel his power spread through her body, easing the process as well as restoring her peace of mind. It had been so long since she had last seen the Archangel and his mere presence caused her spirits to rise. The angel had not realized how much she had missed her family until now.
“Yes,” she replied. Although, a part of her remained attached to earth, her home had always been Heaven. “I am pleased to see you, Michael.” She wrapped her arms about her superior in a hug. Zerachiel did not typically display her emotions; however, she was prone to human sentiment considering she had spent the last twenty-six years as one. “I missed you.”

Although, quantity does not necessarily equate to quality; so, I hope it is at least a decent enough reply. And I realize I did not meet the specified word count, however I have had this document open in Word for hours and cannot seem to add to it; I am pretty fond of where it ends anyhow.

Micheal softly stroked her hair as she hugged him. Zerachiel had been on earth as a human for far too long. But Micheal conceded to her and said "I Missed you too." Micheal like the warmth her embrace gave and the cohesive properties that their shared angelic energy made this all too much to play at chance. Micheal Was sent there to find her. Could it have been to work of GOD? no but someone close to him. Micheal would find out who did what to who when, how and why. Micheal would take Zerachiel back to heaven. "Come My Sister, Let's go"

well it was just a dream just a moment ago i was up so high, lookin' down at the sky don't let me fall Zerachiel hesitated. The angel could not simply leave earth behind, not when the apocalypse threatened the planet. “I cannot,” she replied. “Not now, Michael.” She missed her angelic brethren immensely; however, earth required her assistance more than Heaven – after all, they had persevered without her for twenty-six years.
“I will return,” she paused. “However, I cannot abandon my . . . friends.” Zerachiel thought of Shiloh, the young woman who had been her faithful hunting partner, and her mother, Abigail, who had been a constant source of support over the years; needed – wanted – to protect them. Angels did not have such attachments, though they had never spent time as a human.
As Eli, Zerachiel wanted nothing more than to be rid of her emotions. Now, she realized the significance of the bonds she had created with people.
She hoped Michael would understand. i was shooting for stars, on a saturday night they say what goes up, must come down but don't let me fall MUSE: HighWORD COUNT: 142LYRICS: Don’t Let Me Fall—B.O.BOTHER: - - -
