Matt Winchester had been sleeping for a good couple of hours. He could get away with it. Where he was, was supposedly safe. He could figured that nothing could ever happen as long as he was at home. He knew that the rest of the world had gone to the dogs. Mostly through stories that his dad had told. Sure he was an adult now. Just had become one not to long previous. It was the one thing that excited him the most. The legal drinking, the women, the chance to hunt for once on ones own. He had been out a time or two with Dean, but that was with someone. He had wanted a solo job. One that would give him some decent leverage. He wanted a part of the main action on his own. That and he wanted his dads car to do it in to, hearing the stories about that thing. It was a surprise it lasted this long for that matter. His father was his idol, and he respected him. It was hard to follow in his dad's steps, but he tried his damnedest to do so. Besides the hunting though Jessie and Hannah were his other priority.
He stirred dramatically in his sleep. It was another nightmare. One that had been haunting him for a while. It was the backlash of hunting that was for sure. Hunting still left him scars. Even down to his first, which was a vampire gone rampant. It still bugged him. The covers on his bed were everywhere. Dim light streamed into the room. It was dismal light, but light none the less. While dreaming he started to feel a presence shake him. He had no idea that, that presence was a real one. He tried to swat the feeling away. Tried to get rid of it. he moaned in his sleep. After being shook enough he finally felt himself falling, and then coming to a thud awake. He came up with a start from the other side of the bed. Ready to take on the world. He had his hands raised into fists and looked around. He could see someone across the room, but he couldn't tell who it was because of the lighting. In an authoritative voice he spoke to the figure he could not tell.
"who's there? Announce yourself now, or I will start swingin'." he stated loudly with only a minor crack to his voice. He had no shirt on, only a pair of blue boxers and a necklace around his neck.

Jessie had woke to only find a note Matt's dad had left on the table in the kitchen. It was a scribbled out note. One that was quick and seemed to be hasty. It wasn't unusual for Matt's dad to leave a note, but for some reason Jessie felt uneasy about the idea that Matt's dad had left one is such a mess of writing. Something big had to of happened that he had to write one so unreadable almost. He had taken the note into Matt's room to show him, unfortunately Matt had still been asleep. So naturally he had to wake him calling his name as he tried. Finally when Matt had fell off the bed he had given a sigh of relief. He held the note out to Matt and then decided to speak to him. Of course Jessie was already dressed in some cloths. A pair of jeans and a very light blue shirt with a very light over jacket. The note was in his left hand, which had a black watch on it that worked luckily. However those days what did it really matter to have a watch. Time was endless it seemed.
"Matt, wake up dude. You got to read this. Your dad left it apparently last night. I think somethings up. I really got a bad feeling about it. You know one of those....hunch feelings. Like something bad is going on. Really bad. That off deja vue feeling." he said with a pale look on his face. "Please, read it for me. Let me know what you think."

Matt rubbed his head tiredly. His mind was muddled, but he had heard what his cousin had said. Very clearly at that. It made him have to groan. He didn't like having to deal with his dad and his stupid notes he'd leave. That and Jess always thought the worst of his dad when it came to being gone to long. Personally he never usually would worry about his dad. Dean would always returned with the time was necessary. So he never thought to worry himself over it to the point of gray hairs that was for sure.
"Gah, okay fine." he said groggily taking the note from his cousin. He then looked at the note, even if he did still have sleep in his eyes. He rubbed his eyes and tried to read it again. This time he could tell what it says.
Dear Matt Jessie and Hannah,
I am sorry I have to do this again as usual. But I think I got a good lead on the whole deal with Lucifer and that. With the information I got. I....well lets just put it this way... I may be out for a while. I don't know when I will be able to be back so you guys have to take care of each other, your mother when she isn't on hunt herself, and Matt your sister. I am counting on you guys. Again this mission is gonna be a pretty big one so please guys stay out of trouble the best you can. Don't do anything I wouldn't and don't do anything reckless or stupid while I am gone. Matt, I have left you the car. Apparently where I am going I won't be needing it. So yeah take care of my precious baby will you. Thanks a lot.
Dean
The letter didn't seem too bad, not to him at least. But then again he was half asleep. If anything was wrong it would kick in until later with him kicking himself for not seeing it. He shook his head and then said, "Jess I don't see anything out of the ordinary."

Jessie was taken aback by what Matt had to say. Everything was wrong with the note. Sure he jumped the gun before and ended up having it be a false. But for some odd reason there was more than just a gut feeling this time. Dreams, dreams that had been haunting him, filled that extra spot in his thoughts. He didn't want to be right, but at the same time he didn't want to be wrong either. It was a tough break, but he had to convince his cousin that this time it was a legit thing for sure.
"Come one Matt. There is something wrong with this one. I just know it. Heck i more than feel it. I know things have been wrong in the past, but this time, I don't know. Something just tells me that there is something terribly wrong about all of this. Dad has never left his car behind for one. The fact that this notes handwriting is worse than the last. Matt for heavens sake he makes it sound as if he isn't coming back. Don't you get that!" Jessie stated strongly. He really hoped that, he could get through to his cousin.

Matt gave a sigh about what Jessie had said. He didn't want to think about it at all like that. He liked his naive isms over the matter. Trouble would just mean them having to do something. He didn't want to do something. Not about his dad, no way. That was just well out of the question. The fact that the Impala was left though did have him worried just a bit. Not a lot, but a little. He laid the message on his night stand and then looked at Jessie again a downcast face staring. He didn't want to have to agree with Jess. That would be just murderous on him. To have to admit that his cousin was right. He wanted to be right that everything would be okay. Not the other way around.
"Look...okay fine, I will give you some benefit of a doubt that there might be something wrong. However, unless he hasn't responded for an entire couple of weeks or so in any way possible. Then yeah, I will give you some credit, but until then....relax. We have better and bigger things to worry about that that. Trust me." he stated. However, what he didn't tell Jess, was that he was going to call his dad the moment he got the chance.

Jessie gave a sigh. He knew that he couldn't argue with his cousin for too long. It wouldn't of mattered what he would say, eventually his cousin would win in his mind. So he let that be, he had to since he had no choice in the matter. He decided it would be best to go at that point and find some other things to do with himself. But as he got to the door of the bedroom he put his left hand on the door frame and looked back at him, his eyes still filled with worry.
"Alright, fine we'll wait. But, if something happens, it's on your shoulders. And I won't have to say I told you so. Until then, your right. You better get dress, you know we have things around here to do." he stated to Matt. In his mind he was also thinking, That and so you don't blind the rest of the world with your naked body in blue boxers. He then shook his head and walked out of the room and into the main part of the house where it was lighter out than Matt's room.
