HISTORY:

An Archangel, Sariel is a healer and one of many benevolent angels of death, guiding souls to the afterlife. Said to be one of the holiest of angels, she is associated with eternity and trembling, and is a prominent figure within the Judaic faith. Although saddened over the fact she is not commonly recognized by individuals who practice Christianity, Sariel is completely dedicated to God and his creations. She is also rather close to Death, considering the majority of her time is spent reaping the souls of those who are dying.

Sariel does not tend to socialize with humans and even less with demons. There are angels and reapers she is quite close to, however she is a mystery to well known angels such as Michael, Gabriel, and even Lucifer. Aside from Death she greatly values the company of her sister, Ariel, and fellow angel of death, Ezekiel. She is extremely protective of the three and could not imagine life without them.

Initially, she was not interested in earth’s affairs, the apocalypse in particular. Sariel believes life should run its predestined course and with this in mind, she does not willfully interfere with the mortal realm. In spite of this, the angel has grown fond of the Winchester brothers, having sought them out in order to satiate her curiosity considering they were a central source of gossip in Heaven. One day she wants to introduce herself properly.
