Shiloh was dragged out of her barely conscious limbo again, and for a moment she wondered what it was that had woken her up. As she laid there she heard it, it was a soft sound. It sounded a little like someone crying she wondered to herself why someone would be crying. With her curiosity peaked she had to find out and she forced herself to wake up. She grunted as she noticed how sore she felt and cracked her eyes open.
For a moment her vision swam but as she waited everything slowly slid back into focus and she saw that she was surrounded by trees and the blue sky. She frowned why was she surrounded by trees she asked herself, which at that moment everything came back to her. Her hike through the forest, bumping into that woman, the hell hounds and lastly falling into the river. When she remembered about the river her hand subconsciously reached up to her left eye. She felt the soft yet currently wet fabric of her eye patch and let out a sigh. She still had it on, she didn't want to think about what would have happened if she lost it.
She focused her attention again to the crying sound which sounded close by, so with a bit of difficulty she sat slowly pushed herself into a sitting position and looked around to see where the sobs where coming from.

Makaiya stopped crying due to the fact that Shiloh awoken cause of it, she smiled and squealed in excitement and quickly ran to her, and hugged her seeing if she was alright. She smiled, and looked at her with her big blue glowly eyes, that eyed her up and down, she then began to match eyes with her eyes, she stared at the eye patch and canted her head, wondering why she had it, and she didn’t have to answer the question if she asked. She just laughed, and smile then she stood up and pulled Shiloh along with her.
Then she looked around, and looked down blushing, she was really shy. She then put her fingers together and looked at her “Are you alright, I hope you don’t hate me or mad at me” she said, about to sob. She was ready to be yelled at, just like she always have been, the council hated her, and they would and bicker she hated it, she would cry and sob every time they would yell.

Shiloh was caught off guard by being suddenly hugged but she stayed still until Makaiya was done. She had nothing against hugs but in her profession there was rarely a reason where she would receive one. So she was a a little awkward with it, but thankfully it seemed to be over in a flash. Then it seemed that it was Makaiya's turn to become awkward, as she averted her eyes from Shiloh. For a moment she thought it was because of her eye patch but she saw that it wasn't the case.
"No I'm not mad in fact I think you pretty much saved our asses back there." She was truly grateful for not having to fight off two hell hounds which probably would have ended in a grisly sight. Though she could have done without the being pulled into the river part. Then she slipped off the over shirt she had been wearing and started wringing out as much water from it as she could. "But next time warn me before you decide we need to take a swim." She joked and gave her a small crooked smile.

Makaiya smiled at Shiloh, and then she was full of excitement cause she save them from doom, she felt like a hero and she felt she could do something right for once, she smiled and nodded at Shiloh “Thank you for saving me” She said, then she giggled at Shiloh’s joke, it was a funny one, but not as funny as the man-witch one though. She giggled at the thought and smiled. She stood up, and pulled Shiloh up so they could get a move on; she saw the water fall and canted her head. “Why they call it water fall, when the water isn’t falling” She said, but then she realized she answered her own question, she smacked her self in the face for such stupidity, and laughed.
She then continued to walk, and hum her jolly little tune, and smile at Shiloh, she was just so happy to be with her, she felt safe for once, she twirled but then she fell, and cried due to her wounded ankle, she forgot it was hurt maybe because she was being jolly like a jolly rancher, she couldn’t under stand those time of candies, but they were just so good. “I forgot I am quite injured forgive me” She said, having a sad look on her face, they won’t be able to go anywhere now.

'No problem." She told her and couldn't help but smile a little more, it must have been the cheerful and innocent deposition Makaiya had. As she was now happy and bubbly while not to long ago they were facing down hell hounds. She finished getting as much water out of her shirt as she could. It was still pretty damp but at least it wasn't as heavy as before. Hopefully they'd get somewhere safe soon so Shiloh could dry out her clothes as least, but for now she'd deal with it.
Shiloh watched her fall and move forward to try and catch her but she wasn't able to. She still rushed over to her side and carefully squatted down next to her. "What hurts?" she inquired so she could inspect the damage done, as her traveling companion seemed like she was in a lot of pain. Hopefully it wasn't anything to serious that would require hospital attention as they were a long way off from her car and at the moment she had no idea how off course they were from the trail she had been taking earlier.

She looked at Shiloh, and smiled she was so nice, and loving she hoped to be best friends with her, maybe even her sidekick. " My ankle that's all" She said, smiling and her eyes gleaming with blue with happiness. She just couldn't help but giggle and smile, she didn't even know where they were she was just so happy to have a friend. She looked around, and stood up again, but this time she leaned against the tree, and held on so she wouldn't fall, she then climbed on it to look over the trees.
She tried to see where Shiloh's car, she saw it but when she looked she saw a bunch of demons around, and hellhounds to, her eyes widen, and she climbed out to looked to Shiloh. "Holy cannoli batman, we are in deep doo doo" She said, having a scared expression on her face, but then she became brave like robin, and she saw Shiloh as batman cause she was her sidekick. " Lot of bad guys near the bat mobile" She said, trying to sound like robin for one thing she loved that show, and she wished her life was liked that.

Shiloh saw that it just looked sprained and slightly swollen, which was a good sign. Well maybe not for Makaiya as she was going to be the one in pain, but at least it meant that it was nothing too serious. All it would need would be some ice and for her to lay off it for a day or two. She had opened her mouth to let her know that it wasn’t anything to worry about when she suddenly jumped up and hobbled over to a tree before climbing up it. She was left staring after her hoping that she wasn’t going to fall out of the branches.
At first she was taken aback by the use of old Batman and Robin lines, but as she replayed the message in her read she realized what she had been trying to tell her. Shit she thought to herself they found her car and blocked it off meaning their only way to escape was pretty much gone. “What are they and how many?” she called up to her. Maybe it was only a few of them and she could bust some heads and get into her car. Then she could get the two of them the hell out of there, even if she had broke a few driving laws. Then again that was never a problem with her in the first place.

Makaiya looked to Shiloh, and placed her hand behind her back, “Well there was sort of..Well...Kind...” She stuttered a bit, she couldn’t say how many cause they couldn’t take down all of them, not to mention the hellhounds, and if she mentioned that Batman would have a fit and that wouldn’t be nope not at all. She then gulped, and looked at her “There were 7 and plus hellhounds 10” She said, having a scared tone in her voice, she might have been George of the jungle and climb through the trees that’s when she got an idea.
“I know how to get pass, the trees. Be one with them or become a monkey. Maybe we could meet Tarzan and Jane” She said, smiling with excitement, she laughed and climbed up the tree and jumped to the other, making a monkey sound then she covered her mouth so the demons wouldn’t hear, she was getting a bit excited, so she had to calmed down. “All this monkey business, is making me go bananas” She said, pouting and waiting for Shiloh to climb the tree, and jump, she hoped she could jump and climb because they would be in trouble.

Shiloh hopes dropped when she heard the numbers there were way to many of them for her to successfully take them out on her own. So there went her plan of getting back her car. But at Makaiya's suggestion of climbing the trees and using them to get passed them...it seemed a little far fetched, but maybe it could work. Might as well try she thought to herself it was better than standing around wondering what her next plan would be. Though she shook her head in disbelief as she didn't think she'd ever been reduced to jumping through trees like a monkey while on a job. But then again you could always expect the unexpected in this line of work.
She walked towards the nearest tree and started hauling herself up the trunk, it wasn't very hard as she was always a good climber. Plus this also wasn't the first time she had to climb a tree to escape something. When she was able to reach the first branch she grabbed a hold of it and with a swinging movement she twirled herself around the branch and landed on top of it with the agile movements of an experienced gymnast. She let herself smile as this task going to be very entertaining, but she was going to have to also be very careful as with one wrong move she'd be falling to the ground. Hitting the ground from this high was in no way going to be pleasant.

She watched Shiloh in amazement how agile she was, and flexible she was doing good, she then hopped to another tree like a wee little bunny, and she loved bunnies, yes indeed lemon squeezey she giggled at that line, and jumped again, then she turned to see if Shiloh was behind her, she hoped neither of them didn’t fall or get bit by a snake cause that would have been a big no no, and she would be quite sad if she lost a friend or lost her own life, but she didn’t she was useless anyway.
Feeling sorry, and the pain, she took a rest, and waited Shiloh to catch up, she looked at he swollen ankle, and groaned by the way she touched it, it really sucked, like a lollipop, she then stood up, but when she stood she almost fell luckily she saw, and grabbed on to the vine, then she thought. They could get there faster with the vines; she swung one to Shiloh “Tarzan time!” She said, as she swung on a tree then the next with each new vine, this was fun to her, very very fun.

At first Shiloh was a bit apprehensive about jumping from branch to branch but after a few tries she fell into a comfortable rythem. Which made her feel a little more confident, but she was still carefull to grab onto branches to steady herself after she landed or tested her weight on certain branches to make sure they wouldn't break under her weight. She also chose thick looking branches to jump to as they were probably more suited for carrying her weight better than the thinner branches.
She noticed Makaiya resting on a branch and looking at her ankle she guessed that it was hurting her again. Which wasn't a surprise as she hadn't been able to do anything to it yet, but she hoped that this plan worked so then she could get to some tools and fix up her ankle before it got any worse. She also managed to catch up to her and rested on a branch near her before Makaiya jumped up and mentioned something about vines and Tarzan. She was surprised to see her swing on a vine. She hadn't noticed that some of the trees had vines. For a moment she stared in shock as she wasn't sure if the vine would hold Makaiya's weight, but it seemed to hold. But she wasn't sure if it work for her...but then again she didn't have much other choice. So she grabbed a vine that seemed sturdy after a few hard test tugs and she jumps and used her whole body weight to propel herself forward. She hoped to God that he wouldn't let the vine snap and leave her falling to her demise.

She was extremely light so it wouldn’t bother the branches but then again..Shiloh was heavier she hoped that she didn’t fall and die cause that would be horrible and she didn’t want that because Shiloh was her batman body, she wasn’t going to let her die even if that meant her dying, and she was planning on to her take her place, she didn’t care about being a star or the damn council screw them like some people say in those angry movies she used to watch, she then stopped and notice they were really close, but then she heard hellhounds
Really close like underneath them, she looked down to see them, her eyes widen, and they became slit as she turned to Shiloh. “Hellhounds below us” She screamed, she then forgot hellhounds could jump, and she felt something trying to climb up, she broke a branch and began smacking the hell hound with it, telling it to go away and leave her alone, she had to get Shiloh over so she could help but she had to learn how to defend herself no matter what.

It seemed like the man upstairs heard her and she managed to land on the other side without any harm except for being scared shitless for a few moments. But other than that she was still in one piece which she was incredibly grateful for. Though just as she barely made it onto the next branch that Makaiya informed her that the Hellhounds were right beneath them. She tried not to make a noise, but that seemed pointless as in the next moment Makaiya screamed as one of them tried to jump up and get them. Shiloh nearly fell backwards, but she managed to grab a hold onto a branch overhead and kept her steady.
"Shit. How close is it to getting us?" she called loudly over to Makaiya, as she tried to keep herself upright with one hand and feeling her pants to see if she still had her gun tucked somewhere. Luckily she found it tucked into the side of her jeans, hanging loosely. She grabbed it before it felt down and she was left without a useful weapon. Sure she had her knives on her, but she wasn't sure that she'd be able to win against a Hellhound in a knife fight.

Makaiya hugged the tree so the hounds wouldn’t get her, she cried a bit and looked over to see if Shiloh was okay she had her gun ready...she was just so brave...she smiled and then looked down to see them “ they are getting close…” She then sighed and jumped to another tree…but the branch broke and she was stuck in the vine...The hellhound trying to bite at her feet, she sobbed and hoped someone would save her but then she muster up her strength to climb up it…and hold on until the hounds were dead..And more importantly gone!

Shiloh couldn't see where exactly where the hellhounds where, so she guessed by where the their loud barks were coming from and where she saw some of them graze and break the lower branches. Holding tightly onto the branch so that she didn't fall she aimed for the area and squeezed off two test shots. She thought she hit one as she was sure she heard a high pitch whine, but it was quickly drowned out by the barks of the other hellhounds. This was definitely going to be a hell of a lot harder than she thought.
Maybe she could try and distract the hellhounds by turning them onto each other. It was a bit of a long shot sort of plan, but at the moment it seemed worth a try. So she waited carefully for them to hit the tree branches and when they did she quickly unloaded a clip at them. She made sure to spread out her shots for a maximum chance for a hit. She didn't manage to see any blood but she did hear another pained whine. She hoped that her plan was working and kept pulling her gun's trigger until she was clicking empty.
Shiloh carefully shimmied her way over to the trunk of the tree, and rested her back against it to keep her upright as she reached into her pocket and fished out a new clip of bullets. With very practiced ease she switched out the empty clip with the new one and prepped the gun. She was ready for round two of her crazy plan.
