Makaiya heard a high pitch whine, and that was the sound of one down 2 more to go, she climbed up, and watched them climb after her, she would be the distraction and let Shiloh shoot, this was a great plan right...well she thought it would be. She had to be careful though cause of the branches were very easy to break, and snap she held on to the tree tightly, and climbed up more, she was getting scratched by a few branches, and the blood trickled down the tree, the hellhounds licking the blood .
Fueling them with blood lust,s he then looked over to shiloh who was trying to aim at the hounds if only she could show her where they were...She then saw a stick, and smacked one of them to show Shiloh where it was, so she could take it down, and when she then she could smack the other one with the stick, and it would be the perfect team work plan and if that didn't work, then they defiantly needed one of those backup plans, and big time. Shiloh had been waiting till she found another sign of where the hellhounds where, just then she saw Makaiya hit one of them with a rather long broken off branch. With her assistance she aimed for the area where her branch was hitting fired a few more shots. She hoped that her bullets where hitting somewhere usefull. She saw a few flecks of blood, but it didn’t look like much. She hoped that the other hounds would pick up on it and turn their attention away from the trees and tear each other apart.
It didn’t seem like her shooting had made much of a difference on the hellhound, so she shot off a few more shots. She made sure not to use to many as she needed to conserve some for whatever else was out there after t hem. She manage to draw a little more blood from before, but like before it didn’t seem effective at all. At least until she heard a small change. It was so soft that at first she did not know if she had really heard it at all in the first place. Soon half of the hellhounds had dropped from barking and started growling. Shiloh felt a small twinge of hope that maybe her plan was starting to work. She may not have been able to see them, but she could hear them start to circle around the one she had managed to draw blood from.
She waited in suspense to see what their next move was, which she didn’t have to wait long for. As they all seemed to jump at the weaker one and soon she saw splatters of blood appear out of thin air. But she knew better, they were so filled with bloodlust that they had turned on their comrade. She didn’t feel too bad about it, it was either it, or them. She liked to keep herself and Makaiya in one piece.

She looked with sadness, and pain when the hellhounds started attacking on the weaker one, kind of reminded her of herself, and the other starts they would attacked her emotionally and mentally, almost psychical if only the guard didn't stop them, and throw her in prison for awhile, it was their fault she should of never got in trouble in the first place, she was quite upset with this sight, this view seeing them like this made you understand how they were made, and what they had to do in life, she then began climbing on another tree, and continued to watch the blood thirsty hounds.
She then looked to Shiloh, and slightly smiled, it was weak but it still counted as one, she then looked down to her ankle, that was now very slowly...but she couldn't feel the pain, not with the growling and yelping of the one hellhound, she got passed her pain cause of it. She then saw the car very clearly and smiled, then completely lost it when she couldn't see the demons by it anymore, she looked to shiloh" The demons are gone...I think they left." [/color]

Shiloh felt her morale pick up just a bit at the news of the demon gone, but a major part of her wondered if it was another trap for them. She was not in the mood to walk into another trap as she was sure she would attempt to pistol whip whoever was unfortunate to be close enough for her to reach. It also would not be the first time she had been driving to using unorthodox tactics. She had not actually tried pistol whipping a demon yet (or any other supernatural being for that matter), but under the all the stress of the situation there was a possibility that it may work.
"Are you absolutely sure that they're gone?" she inquired from Makaiya. Since she could see the hell hounds easily maybe she could also tell if the demons where just hiding from them. Shiloh hoped that she was strong enough for that, as her own abilities could only do so much. In the current standstill she took the time to pat herself down for a quick weapon check, to make sure she didn't lose anything. She was going to need all the weaponry she had on her person, if they were going to attempt to get to the car in one piece. She felt the hunting knives she had hidden, so that was good, she was also sure she had a bottle of holy water in a pocket somewhere. She would save that for a last resort.
